What’s Going on in Your Brigade?
Hello the Camp!
Well, it’s taken longer than usual to get the summer heat up and going, and I for one have been happy to take advantage of this cooler summer . . . so far.
One of the pieces of feedback I consistently get from the Brigade, is to get more information on upcoming events – even outside of their specific parties.
I am sure that most parties have an event or two planned each year, and the more word we get out about these events, more brothers can get on the ground and into camps.
You never know if a “near-by” brother will be close enough or attend or even if a fellow mountaineer may be enticed enough by what’s happening with your party to stop on by and join ya around the fire.
In fact, most all of us have potential pilgrim or two in mind – and if you don’t you should! – and it may be that another party’s event is more convenient schedule or timing-wise to make this happen.
If we want our organization to grow we need to be consistently looking to new members and find other like-minded folks – hell, helping a Pilgrim with their requirements is downright fun and lets you go through the fun all over again. Waugh!
Look forward to hearing some great stories and seeing some fine sketches from the Nationals coming up soon. It’ll be a fine doin’s for sure.
