The TX/LA/OK/AR Brigade of The American Mountain Men

The Warfield Party

The Warfield Party was formed in early 2015 to create a group for AMM brothers in the Central Texas Region.

Party name was chosen from Charles Warfield, a mountain man who was an officer in the Republic of Texas army.   Warfield was trapping in the Rocky Mountains in 1832 or 1833, sometimes working out of Bent’s Fort.   Post-period he took part in an expedition against New Mexico, leading a volunteer force of mountain men.  He returned to the mountains in the mid-1840s.

Party booshway is Paul “Many Rifles” Laster
